What we collect and why
Last updated October 27, 2026. This policy covers xn--bubalacafgrill-jkb.com and the information you send us through it.
Who we are
Bubala Cafe & Grill, 17479 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75252 (“Bubala”, “we”). Questions about this policy go to general@bubala.org or (469) 466-8818.
Information you give us
When you build an event estimate, we store the date, format, guest count, the dishes, add-ons and entertainment you chose, and the contact details you enter: name, email, phone, company, occasion and notes. When you use our contact, catering, gift card or job application forms, we store what you type in them. We do not ask for or store card numbers on this website; payments for deposits and gift cards are taken by phone or at the restaurant.
How we use it
To price and confirm your event, send you your estimate and status emails, answer your enquiry, process a gift card order or consider your application, and to keep a record of bookings for our accounts. We do not sell or rent your information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Estimates, confirmations and replies are sent through a transactional email service on our behalf. Each email relates to something you asked for; we do not run newsletters from this site.
Cookies and analytics
The public site sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics. One cookie remembers the language you chose. While you build an estimate, your draft is kept in your own browser's storage so you can come back to it; clearing site data removes it. Staff sign-in uses one session cookie. Embedded Google Maps on the contact and home pages loads from Google and is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Security and retention
Data is stored on our own server with access limited to restaurant management. Event requests are kept for seven years for tax and accounting purposes; form messages and applications are deleted after two years unless they turned into a booking or a hire. You can ask us to delete your information sooner by email, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email general@bubala.org from the address you used with us and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Ticketed evening events are for guests 18 and over.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
